Dr. Patrick J. Cooley

Dr. Patrick Cooley has been providing quality patient care in Central Vermont since 2002. He is a 2001 Summa Cum Laude graduate of New York Chiropractic College and a 1997 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy.

Dr. Cooley has additional certifications in Active Release Technique (Full Body, Nerve Entrapments) and Graston Technique. Dr. Cooley uses a multidisciplinary approach using both chiropractic and physical therapy techniques to address neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

He is a very active person who enjoys running, skiing, playing tennis and spending time with his family.

Brian Finch

Brian Finch received both his Bachelor's degree in physical therapy/clinical science and his Master's degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College in New York.

Brian, a licensed physical therapist, has been in clinical practice for the last 19 years. He began his career specializing in pediatrics with a concentration in early intervention with Saint Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York. In 2006, he relocated to Vermont where he began work for Rutland Regional Medical Center with a focus in outpatient orthopedics. He joined the team at Cooley Chiropractic and Rehabilitation in 2018.

Brian's areas of interest include sports related injuries, general orthopedics, rehabilitation following joint replacement surgery, pediatric therapy, TMJ dysfunction, dry needling, deconditioning, and general spine care. Additionally, he provides sports specific training plans, gait analysis, and running rehabilitation.

Brian is a longstanding member of the American Physical Therapy Association, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a certified dry needling practitioner.

In his free time, Brian enjoys long distance trail running, alpine skiing, biking, hiking, reading, and gardening.

Dr. Mary Atkinson

Dr. Mary Atkinson is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating with honors. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Born and raised in Rutland, VT she is happy to return to her home town after eight years away.

Dr. Atkinson enjoys treating all ages, especially Veterans. She spent a six-month portion of her clinical education treating Veterans at the Rochester Veteran Administration Outpatient Clinic in Rochester, NY. She is also certified in Webster Technique and McKenzie Technique: Part A. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking.

She is very excited to join Cooley Chiropractic and Rehab as Dr. Cooley has been a mentor throughout her chiropractic education. Dr. Atkinson is looking forward to providing thorough, quality care for every patient to optimize their health.
